Valentina Morales
Rediscovering Joy After Loss

Age 11, United States of America
Valentina began struggling emotionally after losing her father unexpectedly. Once outgoing and energetic, she became withdrawn, stopped interacting with friends, and often experienced overwhelming sadness she could not explain. Her grades began falling, and she frequently complained of stomach pain and anxiety before school.
Her family wanted to help but did not understand how deeply grief was affecting her emotional well being. Without proper psychological support, Valentina felt increasingly alone in her pain.

No child should carry emotional pain alone.
Through The Zeus Foundation’s grief counseling and child therapy programs, Valentina received emotional support tailored specifically for children coping with loss and trauma. Through art therapy, guided conversations, and compassionate counseling, she slowly began learning how to process grief in healthier ways and reconnect with the world around her.
Today, Valentina has regained confidence, rebuilt friendships, and continues healing while honoring the memory of her father with hope instead of fear\
